Begu Tea

One thing you may not know about me is that I love tea. Any type of tea, earl grey, PG tips, weight loss tea and herbal teas. I was very kindly sent an assortment of teas from Begu tea to try.

First impression

The packaging is so cute I love it! It's so colorful and vibrant nothing like any other teas I've tried. I just love seeing them in my cupboard and all of the teas taste great so whats not to love! My favorite I have to say is the Night time tea which has hints of peppermint which makes me feel very relaxed before I go to sleep. The teas have the affect that they say they do on the packets and are definitely affecting my diet in a good way of course!

If you are looking for weigh loss help I would recommend:

Crave: The herbs in this are designed to help stop you from reaching for that spoonful of Nutella.. not that I would .....
Appetite: This tea is so helpful because it helps curve your appetite so you don't keep snacking on anything it doesn't have to be sweet.
System cleanse: This definitely works..... I would have this just before you go to bed and be ready in the morning.

If you are looking for help winding down I would recommend:

Calm: Having a big problem with anxiety and juggling 5 assignments at once this tea comes in very handy. Calms you down in no time!
Night Night tea: This tea is a life saver for when I need to make sure I get a good nights sleep for those long Mondays.

If you are looking for help waking up and going to sleep (which is my big issue) I would recommend these

Morning Buzz: This tea fills you with a healthy buzz of energy a lot better than any Monster or red Bull. I like to enjoy mine on my way to Uni so I'm ready for that 9am lecture.
Night Night Tea: Yes, I put this twice because it really works. I have a big problem falling to sleep sometimes and the past week that I've had this tea I've drifted off to sleep, and also had the best night sleep ever!

Thanks for reading!

Bath and Body Works Haul!

The one problem about not living in America anymore is the lack of Bath and Body Works. Well not the lack but the absence of as there arn't any in England! They definitely need to consider branching out to the UK as they would probably make a lot of profit off of us Brits am I right?! Anyway I definitely spent a lots of money in that store as a matter of fact I went in a couple of times throughout my trip.

Lets start with body items.....

Yes, I went all out on the pumpkin sent this time. Being in America during September is probably the best thing ever as all the pumpkin flavoured everything shows up in stores! Anyways there was an offer on at the time, buy three get three free so me and my friend split the cost of one of group of three items...if that makes any sense.  I went for the sweet cinnamon pumpkin which has two of the best fall scents in one! The packaging is very festive I will also be leaving these on show in my bathroom for all to see!!

The spray....

Works like a body mist very light but I can smell it for most of the day. I use an empty Sephora sample spray bottle to carry this around in my Uni bag. Again smells like Autumn in a bottle!

The lotion....

The lotion is thicker than I thought, but it goes on and dries very quickly!

The scrub...

Hand sanitisers....

I LOVE these they smell amazing and their as cute as a button! Wish I had gotten more but these two smell amazing!
I got the sweet Cinnamon pumpkin (surprise surprise) and the pumpkin berry crumble which smells amazing very sweet if you like that sort of thing. Just wish I had bought more!

The Candles

These candles are massive, 3 wick! They also smell amazing too they fill the room with the sent in minutes and you can smell it for ours after you blow it out!
Of course I had to get a pumpkin candle to go with my theme. The doughnut candle smells exactly like a cinnamon doughnut makes the room smell amazing!

That's all I got this time, hopefully this will last me through the Autumn months!

Georgia on my mind

Fun fact, I actually grew up in Georgia I lived here for 10 years before I moved back to England for University.

I stayed in Georgia for two months one month before my New York adventures and one month after. My parents recently moved from our previous home to a more...isolated house. Lets just say its a cabin in the woods and not the creepy kind either! Its a beautiful place to sit and relax and watch the world go by. However, my parents have also bought two new Old English Bulldog puppies which might I add have grown very quickly over the last three months that I was here! One of them is actually trying to get up on the chair with me as I'm writing this now.

I got here just in time for the 4th of July! We like celebrate with lots of food and drink!

What I get up to in a day.

Usually I wake up at about 10 am- 11 am (late I know). Then I usually make my way upstairs (my room is in the basement where its nice and cool) briefly get "attacked" by the puppies which consist of overexcited licking and jumping like they haven't seen me in years. I then make something for breakfast and take it outside on the deck where there is a beautiful view of the mountains and the greenery. While I'm out here I usually write on here and plan future blog posts. We sometimes leave the mountains to go food shopping or go to adventure the neighbouring towns for some lunch. Sometimes I might take a walk up the mountain with one of the puppies or by myself. By the time we get back  from our adventures it's usually 6-7pm so we make dinner and sit down to watch some sort of TV show or movie. A lot of the time it's also thundering and lightning outside. At about 11-12 I go to bed and the day usually start over again.

About every other weekend I would go and see high school friends and go exploring or shopping. I saw my friend Amanda the most we usually go shopping, make crafts and go shopping..... bad for my bank account I know.

Sometimes we even made delicious pumpkin themed cakes and cookies because we are both obsessed with pumpkin during this time of the month.

Pumpkin Cheesecake bread

I also went back to my home town and paid a visit to my friend Sami. We stayed by the pool and reminisced about our high school days. However this was interrupted by a thunder storm and we had to take shelter.

More recently my friend Emily came to visit and we went hiking up Amicolola falls. We climbed about 500 steps to get to the top. When we made it to the top we had a little picnic. Our legs definitely killed after that hike!

I also had a couple of spa days! Once with my sister and nan and again with my mom and dad! We do love pampering ourselves.

Summer and Autumn nails ...original I know.

I also ate a lot of rubbish..... a lot.....

Those are just the ones I took pictures of ..

That's about it for my last summer post I hope you enjoyed my summer as much as I did. Let me know what you have gotten up to this summer!

10 Things to do in New York!

A lot of these are from my 5 weeks in New York so if you don't want to read through them you can have a quick summary here!

** By the way I mention Photo shoots a lot..... I like taking pictures

1) Visit the museums!

The Met
The museum of Natural History

2) Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island

This is an experience that I think everyone needs to have. It is definitely an eye opener.

3) Coney Island

Have a beach day and bring your favourite snacks to lounge with.

4) See a Musical!

There are plenty to chose from! Cats, School of Rock, Jersey Boys, Wicked, and Matilda

5) Ellen's Stardust Diner

For the best entertainment in the City (besides an actual Broadway show!).

6) Walk around Central Park.

Venture around the shops and try and find your favourite movie spots. By this I mean find where your favourite movies are shot in Central Park and reenact the scene!

Where they filmed Doctor Who!

7)  Go to a Cat Cafe!

Try the Little Lion Cafe on Grant street!

8) Eat everything New York-ish!

Gray's Papya Hot dog

Cheesecake from Ellen's stardust Diner
Be sure to get food from the hot dog and pretzel vendors it all about the New York experience

9) Go to Macy's on 34th street!

For the experience, people watch and to browse all of the counters! Its also 34th street so this would be the best place to go at Christmas.

10) Of Course visit Times Square!

Have a little Photo shoot with your friends/family and get that perfect Instagram shot!
