My new job!

A few weeks ago I mentioned in my interview post that I was going to and interview with Change lingerie. Well I got the job. I have waited a while to talk about it only because I wasn't sure what I thought at first. Working in the lingerie business is different from just plain old clothes retail. You provide a service to every customer catering to their needs completely! Which I love, I get to meet so many different people everyday and sometimes even make their day by helping them look and feel great.

About Change

Change is based in Denmark with about 200 stores in Denmark, Ireland and Canada with only one store in England (Chester). They offer a range of b-e-a-utiful styles including lounge wear and sports wear! We range from a 28 back in some styles and up to a 40 back and range from an A cup to A K! We have three sub sections (if you like) that includes Change, Brittany Spears, Charade and Change for men. Visit their website and check them out!

Here's a peek of what we offer!...

Not only do they do sweet waffles they also do savoury waffles and milkshakes!

The interview

I had an interview today at CHANGE . I thought you guys would be interested in what I wear to an interview and how to get ready for one.

What to wear:

I usually go for something formal/casual. Even though my interviewer said that it wasnt a formal affair I still wanted to make an impression. Most of my interviews have been at fashion shops (New Look, Bank, River Island, and even L.K Bennett). They like to see what you can do with clothes! Don't go to extreme just subtle, you don't want to go in wearing a tutu and Dr. Martins.

Maybe combine clothes from different shops and add your own accessories. Here was my outfit!

On my instagram!

Shirt- Primark £6.50
Necklace- H&M £3.00 (Bought in the sale last year)
Jeans- New Look - £20.00
Shoes- BANK  Blonde and Blonde £11.00 (closing down sale)

For my make- up I just left it looking natural.

Foundation: Rimmel lasting finish.Colour: 100 Ivory
Powder: Rimmel matte finish Colour: Transparent
Blush: Revolution Colour: Sugar
Mascara: Lancome Hypnose waterproof mascara colour: Black
Eye shadow: Revolution matte pallet
Eyebrow Pencil: Rimmel professional eyebrow pencil. Colour: Hazel
Eye-liner: Collection. Colour: black

How to get ready.

I always look at the company. You can usually find this on their website like so under about us. Look at what they do and what they stand for. The interviewer will be very impressed it if you know a lot about the company. You can even Google them get as much information as possible. You can even find forums that will tell you what its like to have an interview at a company. There were loads on New Look! Make sure you give yourself time to get ready with out rushing. make sure you eat before there's nothing worse than having a growling belly during an interview! If you want my experiences with my interviews from: New Look, BANK, River Island, and L.K.Bennett just comment below!

Happy Interviewing!

Beth

A sunny Chester and Easter treats.

Just some photos to show you the beautiful Chester.

X-men mansion lol

Very timid came right up to me!

Alex and I had a date day!  I treated him to home made cookies (chocolate spread filed from Easter treat week day 3), a KitKat egg, and a lunch at Fiesta Havana! He treated me to:

Easter treat week: Day 6

A rainy day in Chester and Superdrug bargains!

Chester is a beautiful city! Even in the rain and wind! I was going to take more but it started pouring so I cut the trip short.

Road leading to superdrug

City hall

And then I ran into Superdrug.

The bargains

£2.47 it was half price. I couldn't resist! I have used this and I love it! My hair has never been so smooth. I don't wash my hair every day only every other so I plan on using this every second wash, if that makes sense.

MUA

£1 each! The colours are beautiful I'm wearing the grey one now! Perfect for the handbag! However, they are small and the light pink needs a couple of coats.

Go grab them while you can!!

Beth

Easter treat week: Day 5

Simply marble cake

I used the same recipe as the mini egg cupcakes!

What you will need:

110g Self raising flour, 110g butter, 110g caster sugar, 2 eggs, 1tsp vanilla extract,  Milk as you go, And cocoa powder.

Mix sugar and butter together.

Add eggs and vanilla extract

Add flour

Put some of your mixture in a separate bowl

Add some cocoa powder

Place a blob in the centre of your cake.

Use a knife to move the chocolate batter around.

Like so.

Place in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 200 degrees.

Let me know how your treat weeks are going!
xoxo,
Beth
